Satyam gets TDWI Best Practices Award

CHENNAI: Satyam Computer Services today said that its Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Practice (BI & DW) had won The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) Best Practices Award 2006.

Sharing the information with the media here, Kiran Cavale, vice president of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Practice at Satyam Computer Services said that the award was in recognition for a large warehouse engagement for a North America-based finance major.

He said the TDWI award is regarded as the ‘Oscar of Data Warehousing.’

“Satyam happens to be the only Indian off-shoring company to win the award for its best practices,” he added.

The company had won the award for a different category in 2002, for best practices.
