SAP unveils business suite S4 HANA, bets on better UI and agility

BANGALORE, INDIA: SAP India today announced its next-generation business suite SAP S4 HANA, which SAP claimed ''their biggest launch in 23 years''.

The products is a part of the company's 'run simple' drive and will help business run simple in today's hyper connected world. It is built fully on the advanced in-memory platform of SAP HANA and and uses the SAP Fiori UI to meet the objective.

The product is optimized for PC, tablet, smartphones as well as wearables.

The company has put major thrust on the modern design principles to bring simplified dashboard view, keeping the today's business and user requirements in mind.

SAP S4 HANA is designed to derive real time business value across different line of business across different industries for various business requirements including regular project management, resource planning, allocation requirements as well as relatively complex task of managing different elements of smart cities.

The development was a global collaborative project and SAP Labs India played an integral role in the development of the core architecture, Fiori user experience, applications and platform.

The product will be available on the cloud, on-premise and in hybrid deployments model, depending on the customer requirements.

SAP has an established partner ecosystem that is ready to resell and provide services for customers to move to SAP S4 HANA with pre-defined migration and deployment packages for quick time to value.
