A project worth Rs 9000 crore, Amanora Park Town is the first township to be approved and built under the Maharashtra Government's Special Township Policy. Spread across 400 acres, the project offers digital solutions to its residents including e-governance, e-commerce, utility management, safety and security system, statesthe press release. The complete IT enablement of Amanora Park Town has been a blueprint of CMC Limited in a pioneering effort of designing IT based Quality of Life applications like several others carried out across the various sectors of economy. CMC completed the SAP ERP implementation in a record time frame of five months, consolidated and standardized the township’s processes and applications over a unified platform, laying the foundation for a dynamic township management company.

SAP was a natural choice since technology plays an integral role in providing an enriching experience to the citizens of Amonara,” said Aniruddha Deshpande, Managing Director, City Corporation Limited. “The integration of disparate systems under a single window by CMC has enabled transparent governance, security and access to a variety of facilities at the click of a button. We believe our partnership will bolster the backbone of this ambitious real estate project to bring alive a successful marriage between digital technology and community living experience.”

According to recent study by Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Asia-Pacific property markets are likely to integrate with global property capital markets. This indicates a bright future for the global economy itself, despite slowdowns in housing markets worldwide. However, novel marketing strategies, transparency, governance & risk compliance and value for money propositions will be necessary to sustain consumer attention. Realtors, therefore, are hastening their transformational plans by investing in the right kind of IT infrastructure in order to achieve optimum levels of operational productivity, information access and regulatory compliance.

“It gives us great pleasure to partner with a forward-looking, innovative organization like City Corporation. Amanora Park Town clearly recognizes the advantage of technology to simplify and enhance quality of life,” said Ranjan Das, Managing Director, SAP, Indian Subcontinent. “SAP will work with City Corporation to help it successfully advocate digital living."
