Chandra wanted to accompany his nine-year-old son for a treatment in Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital. “The petition is dismissed as it's withdrawn,” the court in its order said.

With the opposition from the investigating agency, special CBI judge O P Saini had earlier rejected his application for permission to visit Singapore.

Chandra is one of the accused in the alleged 2G spectrum allocation scandal. He is on parole, which was granted last month.
