Though the mini version is available on grey market for some time now, reports suggest that Samsung is not open to release the model as such a release would affect the sales of smartphones in the same price bracket.

Samsung has already emerged as leading player in the low-end and high-end smartphones in India market. Observers have long indicated that Samsung would focus more on these two segments rather than releasing price differentiators like the Galaxy SIII Mini.

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini is being sold in grey market for Rs 17,750
