According to a report on Korea Times, Samsung might unveil a Galaxy Note III later this year. The report mentions that Samsung is planning to use the Exynos 5 Octa core processor in the upcoming Galaxy Note III.

The Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor was recently unveiled by the company at the CES 2013. It is an eight-core SoC that is expected to power tablets and high-end smartphones. Samsung's next flagship device, the Galaxy S IV, is widely expected to sport the same processor.

The report also mentions that Samsung Galaxy Note III will feature a 6.3 inch screen. Considering the fact that Galaxy Note was unveiled at IFA in August 2011 and Galaxy Note II in August 2012, one may say that it's likely that Samsung Galaxy Note III will be unveiled this year. When Samsung launched Galaxy Note, it was touted as a revolutionary model for its sheer size. Though buyers approached it with much hesitation, the cellphone was a huge draw later, which prompted Samsung to bring out Galaxy Note 2 (N7100).

The handset priced Rs 36,638 (as of today on Samsung India store) is a slight modification from the first. The Galaxy Note 2 with a 5.5 inch screen runs latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and has quad-core 1.6 GHz processor. The 8-MP auto focus camera has LED Flash.

Seems like Samsung's mantra currently is ''the bigger the better''. However, would you go for a 6.3 inch phablet? Or do you feel that it's too big? Do let us know.
