Sai Infosystem & Allied Digital top SPs of the country

BANGALORE, INDIA: DQ Channels, the leading channels publication of CyberMedia, organized its eighth SP Summit at the holy city of Puri from February 8 to 10.

The SP (Solution Provider) summit was well supported by some of the leading vendors, including VMware, Cyberoam, Hitachi Data Systems, Toshiba, Digisol, Exensys, BPE, Foxconn, Uniline, NComputing, and Prasha. Besides, the event was also supported by the two leading IT associations of the country - ISODA and ASIRT.

Post the success of the SP Summit, Rajneesh De, executive editor of DQ Channels, said, "The SP Summit has emerged as the premier event for Indian solution providers. This year's event at Puri was greatly appreciated by all the delegates who looked at it as business mixed with pilgrimage."

In sync with this year's theme of 'Winning Biz of Tech', several solution providers, including Sai InfoSystem, Allied Digital and Valuepoint Systems, Guj Info Petro Ltd., Choice Solutions, Webcom Information Technology, Binary Systems, and Asset Infotech, showcased their business excellence in domains like education, BFSI, retail and IT/ITeS as well as technologies like cloud computing, virtualization, data center optimization and managed services. Cloud computing and big data emerged as the two focal themes of the discussion.

Apart from the hardcore technical session,s there were discourses on management philosophies by R.S. Shanbhag of Valuepoint Systems, Kirit Joshi of Sai InfoSystem, and Kshitij Kotak of Fortune Grecells, while the industry challenges were highlighted by the two partner associations, ISODA and ASIRT.

Sai Infosystem and Allied Digital were awarded the top two solution providers of the country, while Enjay IT Solutions from Vapi, Gujarat was recognized as the emerging solution provider of the year. Velocis Systems (North), Trisita Marketing (East), LDS Infotech (West) and Precision Infomatic (South) were recognized as the four Regional Rajas.

The SP Summit also recognized champion solution providers in networking services, infrastructure management, security & surveillance, structured cabling, managed print services, network storage, business intelligence, enterprise software, managed security services, data center optimization, enterprise mobility, cloud computing and power management services.

Held at the beautiful locale of hotel Toshali Sands and Resorts, the Summit witnessed an august gathering of top 70 system integrators and solution providers from across the country.
