Sahara Computers to focus on eastern India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Sahara Computers and Electronics Ltd, a South African PC Giant and one of the leading players in IT and Hardware sector is looking at further strengthening its focus on the eastern market.

The company plans to carry out activities like carnivals, road shows and service camps to further penetrate the market and to bring PC awareness.

Sahara Computers will focus on the all the B, C and D class cities and towns of eastern India.

"All these initiatives are part of our strategy to take technology closer to the customer and understand their needs. These initiatives will also help us to address the requirements of our customers in a better manner," said George Van Der Merwe, COO, Sahara Computers.

The company experienced an incremental 62 percent sales growth in this region and this growth has been consistent and month-to-month growth, Sahara said in a release.
