In an important step to boost job opportunities and address the economic concerns of the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 nomination papers during the Rozgaar Mela scheduled tomorrow. On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to distribute over 51,000 nomination papers to newly recruited individuals, the Prime Minister's Office announced on Tuesday.

According to an official statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Modi will distribute appointment letters to new recruits through a video conferencing platform. Additionally, as mentioned in the statement, the Prime Minister plans to address the appointees during the event.

The ‘Rozgaar Mela’ is being conducted at 37 locations across the country, recruiting several central government departments, state governments, and union territories (UTs) to support the initiative, the Prime Minister’s Office has informed.

The Rozgaar Mela underlines the government's commitment to tackling the unemployment problem, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The distribution of over 51,000 appointment letters is a true manifestation of the government's proactive approach to economic recovery and workforce empowerment.

The "Rozgar Mela" is set to take place at 37 locations nationwide. Recruitment processes are underway across central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories (UTs) supporting this initiative. Newly selected recruits from different regions of the country will be joining various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Ministry of Labour & Employment, among others, according to the official statement.

The Rozgaar Mela lays special emphasis on the empowerment of the youth and recognizes them as the driving force behind the country's progress. The distribution of appointment letters is not just a transactional act, but a symbolic gesture aimed at instilling confidence and hope in the young workforce. By facilitating access to meaningful employment opportunities, the government seeks to harness the potential of the youth and channelize their energies towards nation building.

The Job Fair represents a significant step forward in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to job creation. It is expected to act as a catalyst for the creation of more jobs. The recruits are also provided an opportunity to enhance their skills through the online module Karmayogi Prarambh available on the IGOT Karmayogi portal, which offers access to over 800 e-learning courses, the statement said.
