REI, CES launch IT-enabled engineering services

NEW DELHI: Research Engineers Ltd (REI), a wholly owned subsidiary of netGuru Inc., and Consulting Engineering Services (CES) have come together to introduce IT-enabled engineering services for the global market. They have jointly set up RE-CES Online Design and Engineering (RCODE), which would offer a platform for organizations in the US and Europe to outsource their design and engineering needs.

SS Chakraborty, MD, CES said that with the global economy showing signs of recovery, sectors such as power, energy and construction are seeing an increase in investment. "It presents a great opportunity for India, which has a huge human skill base. It is to take advantage of this opportunity that we have launched RCODE," he said.

"RCODE is a separate entity and therefore, the revenue would be distributed between REI and CES based on the effort put in by both the companies. No sales target has been set up as such but our effort would be towards validating this concept," said J Chatterjee, President of netGuru Inc.
