BANGALORE, INDIA: Tell me how many times you regretted sending a mail and so wished for an 'undo' button in your mailbox? I am sure you have felt the same a couple of times, especially when you have written an important mail and as soon as you pressed the send button, you noticed you forgot to attach an important document with the mail, or sent the mail to someone else actually.

Google is actually giving you a second chance to rectify your mistakes by providing an 'Undo Send' feature in Gmail. Until last month, this feature was available only in Gmail Labs, till Google added it to its new Android mail app, Inbox last month.

The feature can be enabled from the General tab in Gmail settings.

When you turn on Undo Send feature in Gmail, you’ll see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail confirmation. Click “Undo,” and we’ll grab the message before it’s sent and take you right back to compose.

This feature can't pull back an email that's already gone to the recipient; it just provides you a 10 second window to rectify your mistakes.
