The Pune facility will work in the areas of tools development of operating system (OS) and its support along with virtualization.

The NYSE listed firm has four R&D centres in APAC region located in Australia (Brisbane), China (Beijing) and India (Bangalore, Pune).

About the company’s growth in India, Cornmier pointed out that in the last couple of years there has been huge growth as we are increasingly seeing the up take of Linux. We were the first to bring it to enterprises. Besides, the open source has been key part of cloud computing and virtualization.
