Hemen Parekh, Director, RecruitGuru said, “ This is an unique concept and we are the first ones to launch such services in the world.”

The RecruitGuru site downloads all job advertisements from jobsites all over the world and converts it into a structured database. Then it matches each of those advertisements with the job preferences prescribed by the candidate and shortlist 10-20 relevant job advertisements and SMS it to the candidate. And if a candidate is interested in any of these jobs, he needs to click 'Apply Online' on his handset and his resume would be forwarded to the concerned advertiser.

Currently the company has tied up with and Airtel and MTNL for this service. The mobile service providers charge three rupees from the candidate if he applies through mobile phone. RecruitGuru in turn gets one rupee from the service provider. “ We are talking to other service providers as well,” added Parekh.
