Rcom launches CDMA version of the Moto G for Rs 13,490

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The Moto G has made waves in India has the best budget smartphone in the country. The phone has been sold out multiple times on online retail website FlipKart. Now, Motorola in collaboration with Reliance Communications (RComm) has launched a CDMA version of the Moto G for Rs 13,490.

For the CDMA version, Motorola is only offering a 8GB model and it is a SIM free smartphone. It has a 4.5-inch 720p LCD screen, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 2,070-mAh battery, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. It also runs the latest version of Android, 4.4 KitKat, which makes it an incredibly versatile proposition.

Motorola has also implemented a water repellent nano-coating, which means that phone survive the onslaught of rain drops, however cannot be dunked in bowl full of water like some of Sony's smartphones like the Xperia Z1 compact and the Xperia Z1.

Previously, the GSM version of Moto G was launched in the country via FlipKart for Rs 12,499 and Rs 13,999 for the 8GB and 16GB versions respectively. RComm is offering some interesting schemes with the device. It is available with zero-down payment and EMI plans for six and 12 months.
