Ramco launches operations in Middle East

NEW DELHI: Ramco Systems has announced the launch of its operations in the Middle East. The operations will meet the region's growing demand for enterprise solutions and will function as the sales, marketing and implementation headquarters of Ramco Systems in the Middle East.





Commenting on the direct presence in the Middle East, Ramco country manager and head — IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) R Shankar said, "The launch of our Dubai operations demonstrates our global commitment to being networked across key strategic geographical locations worldwide. To strengthen our global presence the Middle East was the obvious next step, given the vast potential of the rapidly expanding enterprise solutions market. This necessitated for us to have a direct presence and expand our partnership network in this promising region."



According to the press release, Ramco Systems plans to establish strategic partnerships in the region with customers and alliance partners. Ramco's network of partners in the Middle East include Khalil Al Sayegh Group, Gulf Computers and Ducont.



Customers in this region include Schlumberger, RAK Bank, National Bank of Oman and Al Salam Aircraft Company.



Ramco Systems offers adaptive enterprise solutions in key areas such as manufacturing, aviation, asset management, trading and logistics, corporate performance management and human resources management. The Dubai office is the 16th office for Ramco Systems with 15 other offices in nine countries worldwide. Globally, Ramco employs over 1,300 people.
