Ramco bags order from MAS GMR

CHENNAI, INDIA: Ramco Systems, a provider of software services, today announced that it has won an order from MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Co. Ltd. for its Airframe Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) suite of Aviation software offerings.

MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Company Limited is a 50:50 joint venture between Malaysian Aerospace Engineering and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited.

The company was set up to develop a world class third party state-of-the-art airframe MRO facility that will cater to the needs of its airline customers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, India, said a press release.

Kamesh Ramamoorthy, COO, Ramco Systems said “It has been a great year for our Aviation business and the MAS GMR win is an icing on the cake. We are excited to be partnering the new green field airport project at Hyderabad. This was a challenging order win as we were competing with some of the biggest players in the industry.”

He added that Ramco was chosen post a rigorous evaluation of several applications, as they were technically the best fit, and had a strong customer base. This win has further strengthened their portfolio of servicing best-in-class companies in the Aviation Industry.

Ramco’s MRO Solution for maintenance and also for original equipment manufacturers provides complete Sales Management functionality, seamlessly integrates with Engineering Management, Materials, Procurement Management and Hangar, Shop and Line Maintenance.
