Hyderabad’s Nagpalli Court granted the permission in response to a petition moved by the CBI, which is investigating the Rs 7,800 crore Satyam scandal.

Besides the Raju brothers, the CBI would be quizzing Satyam's former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas and audit house Price Waterhouse's partners S. Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas, said media reports.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate had on March 6 reserved its order for today after hearing the arguments of the CBI counsel and defence lawyers.

The CBI had filed a petition on March 3, seeking seven-days custody of Raju and others after the Andhra Pradesh Government assigned the investigation to the central agency in February.

The court also dismissed the bail applications of Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas, said reports.
