Maurice Illouz, RADWIN APAC GM: "Haiyan typhoon has left unimaginable destruction and many areas have been cut off from communications. Restoring the network infrastructure has become an essential part of the emergency recovery process. We hope that our donation will assist Philippine's operators to re-establish communications networks to help facilitate relief efforts."

RADWIN has an extensive history of donating wireless links to service providers as well as private and governmental organizations that are charged with reconstructing communications infrastructures following calamities. In 2005 RADWIN received a commendation award from Thailand's Royal Princess for contributing links to help reconstruct Thailand's network following the Tsunami. RADWIN also donated wireless broadband solutions following the 2010 Chile earthquake. Systems were used to establish on-site communications in areas impacted by the quake.
