LONDON, UK: As per published reports, PV Crystalox Solar, which produces silicon wafers, has bagged a deal with Intel spin-off SpectraWatt.
The agreement relates to supplying multicrystalline wafers with total output of 125 MW during 2009-2013.
Besides advanced solar cell technologies, SpectraWatt will also concentrate on improving the current manufacturing processes and capabilities so as to reduce the cost of photovoltaic energy generation.
