PSI Data Systems is now Minacs IT Services

BANGALORE, INDIA: Aditya Birla Group’s IT arm PSI Data Systems Ltd. has been renamed Aditya Birla Minacs IT Services Ltd, said a press release.

The move is expected to further strengthen its operational integration with Aditya Birla Minacs, the Group’s BPO business. The two companies are operating as a seamless ITO-BPO organization and the new name leverages the strengths of the Aditya Birla Minacs brand. Aditya Birla Minacs IT Services will adopt the Aditya Birla Minacs brand identity and logo, the release said.

Speaking on the rebranding initiative Deepak Patel, chief executive officer, Aditya Birla Minacs said, “Clients are consolidating the number of vendors in the current outsourcing environment, and with this integration, we now offer a complete portfolio of ITO and BPO services. We are enhancing our go-to-market footprint to support our clients’ needs with the required scale and depth of opportunities. Together, our value proposition is thus more compelling enabling us to compete more aggressively.”

Minacs IT Services will now provide its services across Minacs’ verticals of BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), TIME (telecom, infrastructure, media, and entertainment) and manufacturing (including automotive). In addition, it will deepen its focus on providing outsourced product development and support services to customers in the high technology and software industry, the release added.
