PS4 tops Xbox One as preferred next-gen console

DEERFIELD BEACH, USA: Intergi Entertainment surveyed console gamers across their explicit network of 1,500 sites to determine which next-generation console will triumph the gaming market this holiday season.

With over 5,000 submissions received, Intergi determined that Sony's PlayStation 4 will more than likely surpass its competitors, Microsoft's Xbox One and Nintendo's Wii U.

Ranked by comScore as No. 1 for reaching gaming content, Intergi tapped into its wide audience of gamers with promotional creative featuring console content. Respondents were asked about their purchasing expectations, opinions on aesthetics, the upcoming game line up, and thoughts on the new controller features of each next-gen console.

While Intergi reaches over 200 million gamers worldwide, the study focused solely on US console gamers to ensure targeted results.

The data collected proved PlayStation 4 to be the overall frontrunner, exceeding both the Xbox One and Wii U in every category questioned. Intergi was curious to measure the interests and demands of gamers on the newest gaming consoles prior to their release in November 2013.
