The new GBLCxxCDN series consists of five ultra-low capacitance, low leakage current, TVS arrays. They are available in a bidirectional configuration. At higher operating frequencies or faster edge rates, insertion loss and signal integrity are a major concern. The GBLCxxCDN series also helps resolve these concerns.

ProTek Devices' GBLCxxCDN series is rated at 350 Watts for an 8/20 micro amps waveshape. The series is compatible with IEC standard 61000-4-2 for ESD. It exceeds level 4 of the standard by handling a 25kV air discharge and 10kV contact. It's also compatible with IEC standards 61000-4-4 for EFT.

As an ideal replacement for multi-layer varistors, the TVS arrays are designed to protect one power or I/O port. The GBLCxxCDN series provides ESD protection of > 25kV, a low clamping voltage, and RoHS and REACH compliance.

The five devices - and their rated stand-off voltages - that make up the series are: the GBLC05CDN at 5V, the GBLC08CDN at 8V, the GBLC12CDN at 12V, the GBLC15CDN at 15V, and the GBLC24CDN at 24V.

The TVS arrays are provided in a molded JEDEC DFN-2 package with an approximate weight of 0.8 milligrams. The package features lead-free pure-tin plating . The series has a flammability rating of UL 94V-0.
