Features: NETGEAR Inc., a provider of branded networking products, has announced the rollout of its line of Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions that includes Trend Micro's powerful Client/Server (CS) and Client/Server/Messaging (CSM) Suite for Small and Medium Business into the NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall 200 (FVX538) and ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 (FVS338) routers.






According to Sanjay Aggarwal, business manager at Rashi Peripherals, "NETGEAR's ProSafe VPN Firewall 200 and ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 provide robust and unified threat protection at the gateway from Internet, network and wireless-based threats. Network administrators are able to implement and enforce security policies, restricting Internet access for only those computers that have the latest anti-virus and anti-spam signatures and redirect PCs which are not updated, to a server to for the new updates".





FVX538 is a high-performance security appliance offering complete security solution for small and medium sized companies. Employing a high-powered CPU and security co-processor, the 1U rack-mountable, VPNC certified SPI firewall supports up to 200 simultaneous IPSec 3DES or AES VPN tunnels.





FVS338 is an SNMP-manageable, high performance network solution that supports up to 50 simultaneous IPSec 3DES VPN tunnels and features a built-in serial port for dial-up access. This solution includes an eight auto-sensing 10/100 LAN ports and is compatible with other major IPSec VPN devices or client software and with any SNMP-based management software, such as the NETGEAR ProSafe Network Management Software NMS100.





Price: ProSafe VPN Firewall 200 (FVX538) is priced at Rs 33,000/- and ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 (FVS338) is priced at Rs 16,000/-.
