Progress, HYSEA hold Eclipse DemoCamp

BANGALORE, INDIA: Progress Software Corporation and the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA) are organizing the Hyderabad leg of the Eclipse foundation’s worldwide series of Eclipse DemoCamp to celebrate the Eclipse Ganymede version 3.4 releases.

The event kicks off today.

The DemoCamp gives an opportunity for the display of technology built by the Eclipse community.

Eclipse is releasing its latest version, 3.4 which is code-named Ganymede. The new features of Eclipse Ganymede Version 3.4 release will be highlighted in addition to a few case studies of some interesting use-cases for Eclipse.

"HYSEA is looking for opportunities to present to our members in the IT industry with the latest trends in business & technology. The present DemoCamp is a step in that direction and we believe our members will benefit from these camps," said M Narsimha Rao, president, HYSEA.

DemoCamp is an informal format where Eclipse enthusiasts meet and demonstrate the work they are doing with Eclipse.

The demonstrations could include research projects, Eclipse open source projects, applications based on Eclipse, or commercial products using Eclipse.
