Association Profile:

Gurgaon Industrial Association (GIA) is an apex and the oldest industrial outfit of Gurgaon. It works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in Gurgaon partnering the government through advisory and consultative process. GIA is a non-government, not for profit, industry-managed organization which plays a proactive role in the industry’s development.

Founded over 44 years ago, GIA has been Gurgaon’s premier industrial association with a present membership of about 400 organizations in big, medium and small categories. A facilitator, GIA has been catalyzing change by working closely with the government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding as well as exploring business opportunities for industry through various specialized services.

Gurgaon Industrial Association also provides a platform for making entrepreneurs more innovative and efficient so as to gain competitive edge at global, national, state and regional levels. GIA works closely with different governmental agencies and infuses synergies to elevate the industry by accelerating the tempo of its constant growth. It endeavors to articulate the genuine and legitimate interests and concerns of its members so that the balanced industrial growth is fostered in Gurgaon.

Besides industrial activities, GIA aims to achieve industrial health, good environment and harmony for the success of development of the millennium town. In addition to holding seminars, workshops and conferences on subjects of importance, GIA also organizes the socio-cultural programs including the family get-together functions for the families of the members in order to bring them closer as a well-knit social body.

GIA takes initiatives in promoting industrial peace and safety in Gurgaon and ensuring maintenance of harmonious industrial relations in the city.

Gurgaon Industrial Association Objectives:

  1. Promote Industrial Activities in the District.
  2. Propose/recommend various suggestions to Government on various subjects related to the industries.
  3. Participate in the discussion on framing industrial policy of the State.
  4. Discuss common problems being faced by the industries and represent the same effectively with Government.
  5. Promote, protect, develop and encourage the industries in Gurgaon district.
  6. Conduct Seminars, Workshops on various Industrial subjects.
  7. Hold Interactive Sessions with Senior Government Officials on various issues.
  8. Organize socio-cultural programmes.
  9. Make honest efforts to solve individual Issues.
