Proact has once again been selected as one of the few suppliers allowed to bid on public procurement for server and storage solutions. Proact has been included in Kammarkollegiet’s general agreement since 2007 and has a large number of public clients, it added

"We are of course very happy about the renewed confidence from Kammarkollegiet. The public sector is very important for us and during 2011 the sector represented over 20 percent of our revenue on the Swedish market. We see a healthy growth within the segment as secure and effective storage and backup solutions are becoming very important for public organisations, says Lena Eskilsson, regional manager, Proact.

According to a recent survey conducted by Proact, nearly one out of four public organisations say that the budgets for storage and backup will increase during 2012, and three out of four organisations state that budgets will remain on a constant level.

Increased data volumes are creating completely new demands for the IT infrastructure and we are currently in discussions with many actors concerning how the public sector can secure and optimise the server and storage environment, says Lena Eskilsson
