Polaris launches Intellect CBX

PolarisCHENNAI, INDIA: Polaris Software, a financial technology company, on Wednesday announced the launch of Intellect Customer Business eXchange (CBX) that would enable financial institutions to wire their premium corporate customers to the Banking Financial Technology Grid (FT GRID) in a secure and integrated manner.

Intellect CBX is built on the industry standard J2EE framework with highly parameterized and component-based design for better scalability and easy integration with existing systems in the bank as well as corporate ERP systems, said a press release.

CBX has been built for the primary purpose of expanding financial institutions' ability to generate more transaction and fee based income, the release added.

“Intellect CBX is the 6th generation, highly modular and flexible platform that can enable banks and financial institutions offer products online as a point solution or offer a complete range as an integrated or unified portal,” said Arun Jain, chairman & CEO, Polaris Software Lab Ltd.

He added that the secure and robust framework would offer efficient business and processing services layer and ensures consolidated portfolio access and KPI for informed decisions across business verticals.

The company further claimed that the CBX helps in reducing the development cycle time since it can be applied for any new vertical that needs to be enabled on the Internet, thereby allowing focus to remain only on the vertical specific requirements.

Banks and Financial Institutions can utilize CBX for corporate customers and provide them with a single entry into the complete suite or mix of corporate products and services such as Liquidity management, Treasury, Trade, Custody and Payments, the release added.
