Polaris Lab to set up New York center

MUMBAI: At the annual general meeting of Polaris Software Lab Ltd, held on September 19, 2003, the company chairman said, that in order to ensure continuous growth the company is investing in strengthening the customer reach activities. He further stated that the company is opening a New York center. The software player has also strengthened its sales team at Europe and Australia.






The company that falls in the mid-cap software companies bracket, has also firmed up its plans to enter China. The country which itself is emerging as a big market, could serve as an entry point to software markets of east Asia.





Polaris’s recently released annual report for the financial year 2002-03, revealed that the company board has already approved creation of a new subsidiary, which would be based in China. The China subsidiary would allow the company to expand its customer base and grow its revenue from the region.
