Polaris adds 'Intellect' to corporate banking

CHENNAI, INDIA: Polaris Software Lab Limited, a provider in specialty application development for banking, financial and insurance sectors, today announced the launch its portal solution Intellect ‘Unified Portal’ for corporate banking customers.

The Unified portal solution is expected to offer liquidity and treasury services along with the existing product lines such as trade, cash and payments, said a press release.

It stated that the new version would be launched at Sibos 2008, the world’s premier financial services event being hosted in Vienna, Austria.

Manoj Saxena, senior vice president and head Corporate Banking Solutions, Polaris Software Lab Ltd., said, “Banking customers access multiple URLs or do multiple logins to avail of various services. With the launch of the Intellect Unified Portal, banks will be able to provide their corporate customers a ‘single business transaction’ facility across various banking applications which will enhance customers’ experience significantly.”

The release added that portal features a real time balance and transaction reporting at a group and entity level for corporate working capital management. It provides the ability to book deals, inquire and subscribe reports for treasury services

Arun Jain, chairman and chief executive officer, Polaris Software Lab Ltd., said, “We have developed one of the most complex banking portals for the top 10 global banks with a geographic spread of over 100 countries in 20 languages and processing transactions of over USD 2 trillion value per month.”

He added that the portal solution would result in fast tracking RoI and quick time to market.
