CIOL PokeMatch, for those who lost a loved one for Pokemon

For all the Pokémon Go addicts, who recently lost their partners or spouses for their love of the game, worry not. Remember, a friend in need is a friend indeed! Your love for Pokemon will only help you find your Poke-mate. A new app PokeMatch has arrived to set you up with the similarly poké-obsessed.

CIOL PokeMatch, for those who lost a loved one for PokemonThe app is pretty straightforward and like any dating app asks you some basics- Are you looking for men, women, both, other or just a friend? Want to meet someone from team Valor, Mystic or those other guys? Then you swipe left or right as is standard for dating apps, and when you match with your poké-destined, lets you designate a PokéStop to meet at.

For those, who feel happy without their girlfriends and boyfriends and don’t want any amorous connections, the app also helps you find other team members to play with without the love factor.

"It's not just a hook-up app, PokeMatch and Pokemon GO create actual connections between people, completely for free," says Pim de Witte, co-creator of the app.

"We're also seeing people use it because they feel safer going Pokemon hunting with other people. It can be quite scary to go out on your own," says Rene Roosen, PokeMatch co-creator.

PokeMatch is live on iOS and Android, and since it uses photos from your Facebook login, make sure to upload your best one before you go try to catch them all.
