NEW DELHI, INDIA: Delhi-based One Touch Response (OTR), a provider of personal safety has released a personal safety app named for Apple devices.

The personal safety and immediate assistance service—the One Touch Response (OTR) app has gone live on the Apple Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users.

At the touch of the app the user is immediately connected to the OTR command and control center (C3), which monitors the user’s location and establishes contact. At the same time alerts are send to the FRTs stationed strategically in various parts of Delhi/NCR, as well as the police, ambulance, medical services, fire stations, cab services, mechanics.

For now, the first response team (FRT) service is only available to the users in the NCR region. For its users across 1,000+ cities, One Touch Response offers on call assistance.

The app has a small memory and storage footprint, works well with all mobile data connectivity, and is light on power consumption, thereby not draining the battery inordinately.

Also, all communication between the app and the One Touch servers is http secure.
