Perpetuuiti expands its R&D lab in Pune

PUNE, INDIA:Perpetuuiti TechnoSoft, a leading global Information Technology products company, unveils today its newly expanded R&D lab in Pune, giving a major thrust to its research and development capabilities (R&D).

The new lab is 20,000 sq.ft. in area and will help Perpetuuiti in its innovation efforts, incubating and developing Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) products.

The lab will be instrumental in inventing, testing, and scaling the most promising and cost effective BCM & DR solutions.

Perpetuuiti has invested US$ 1 million in the R&D centre and is expecting to generate business value worth US$ 15 million in the future. Perpetuuiti has brought on board industry stalwarts and domain experts, who have experience of working with companies like Symantec and IBM at senior position, to expedite the process of product innovation and development. The expanded R&D centre will help Perpetuuiti in developing new products and in providing value-added solutions to its existing and potential customers. It will play a critical role in developing competitive products for its global customers who are getting more refined about use of cloud, storage and virtualization.

The company looks at developing BCM and DR products in the context of new technologies along with the various advancements happening in storage hardware industry. Of the products which are in pipeline, the first release is scheduled for ‘Continuity Patrol Version 4.0'. CP 4.0 (as the product is popularly called) is more than just a DRM.Continuity Patrol 4.0 enables Enterprise Visibility for Service Availability Management through Monitoring, Management and Orchestration. CP 4.0 launch will be followed by another innovation release which shall offer state-of-the-cost-effective solution based on Shared Nothing Architecture to the enterprises. This will enable customers to have anywhere, anytime consistent copies of data which can be used for hassle-free technology refresh or quick roll back in less than a second.Speaking on the occasion,
