BANGALORE, INDIA: Ebay's payment company Paypal, which shocked the Indian users with the announcement that it is removing electronic withdrawal functionality in India from August 1, 2010, has announced that it has resumed its electronic withdrawal services into the Indian banks.

"We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you over the past few days. While we have received your appreciation for the advance notice and the refund of the cheque processing fee, we have also heard loud and clear that you highly value the ease-of-use of our electronic withdrawal service," PayPal's Dickson Seow said in a blog.

He said customers are PayPal's #1 priority. "We are working non-stop to improve our service to you," he added.

Also, PayPal said it will continue to provide the $5 processing fee refund for any cheque withdrawals made from July 29 until further notice.

In February, Paypal had suspended transactions to and from India, which was brought back into working within a few weeks.
