Patent tiff sorted, license out

EWPORT BEACH, US: Acacia Research Corporation announced that its Smooth Impact LLC subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Estwing Manufacturing Company, Inc., covering patents directed to impact instrument technology.

This agreement resolves the parties’ dispute that was pending in the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Case No. 6:10-cv-690.
