BENGALURU, INDIA: Dealers and partners in Mysore are planning to revive the association. The association hasn’t been very active in the past four years. Lack of funds and no serious involvement from members brought the Mysore IT Forum down. At present, there is no association in Mysore.

Throwing light on this, KS Venkatesh, Ex-VP, Mysore IT Forum said, “Previously, Mysore IT Forum used to conduct the IT.com event every year. It was a successful and grand event at that time. Later we tried adding more members to the team. We invited software companies including L&T and Infosys, but it did not really work out, and people never showed great interest towards it. But now we are planning to bring the association back to Mysore because business is growing in the city every year at an average of 40 to 45 percent. It is the right time and people should come with some real issues.”

Speaking about this matter, SV Harish, Director, Raman IT Solution said, “The basic problem earlier was that lots of new people were included in the association, and they never showed active involvement. We all need to take initiatives to build up the association. Maybe in another three to four month time, we might revamp our association.”
