Parity ties up with Sonata Software

BANGALORE, INDIA: IT and business solution provider Parity Group plc and software services provider Sonata Software today announced that they have entered in to strategic partnership to share knowledge and experience across their R&D centers and practice teams.

Through this agreement, Sonata would set up a global delivery for Parity that would deliver high quality, cost optimized, scalable solution for Parity's clients, said a press release.

Parity and Sonata would also share knowledge and best practices developed through their R&D centers and practice teams to jointly go-to-market, while also utilizing alliance with technology majors, which include Microsoft.

The alliance would benefit UK organization in both the public and private sectors. Sonata's technology competence in delivering business focused IT solutions together with Parity's in depth knowledge and expertise in working with varying sectors would enable customers to leverage best breed of IT solutions.

Alwyn Welch, CEO of Parity Group, said, “Collaboration and information management solutions are key offerings for Parity and resonate with our own business culture so it seems natural that we would want to collaborate with Sonata.''

He added that both the organizations share a common view of the market strategy and have similar positions and reputations in their respective markets.

Ramaswamy, president and managing director, Sonata, commented, “Sonata's solution-based approach and investment in cutting edge technologies, combined with Parity's inherent understanding of end user requirements, cater well to customers looking for the best IT solution to match their business vision.”

The agreement covers Parity R&D centers in London and Belfast and Sonata's centers in the US, Germany, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and India, the release added.
