CHENNAI: Paradigm-Global Infoservices Ltd (PGIL), a Chennai based
transnational software consulting corporation, has announced partnership with
Analytic and Computational Research Inc. (ACRi) for the development of
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions.
ACRi is a Los Angeles based consulting organization providing mathematical
modeling and computer analysis of environmental pollution and engineering
processes involving Fluid Dynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Turbulence and
Combustion. This organization has a family of versatile CFD software for a wide
range of applications like Answer, Porflow, Tidal and Radm.
A.S. Ramaseshan, chairman and managing director of Paradigm-Global, and Dr.
Aki Runchal, president of ACRi jointly announced the partnership at PGIL's
headquarters in Chennai. This tie-up will enable Paradigm-Global to market
ACRi's CFD software products in India, develop software for future releases and
also provide advanced CFD consulting to customers worldwide.
Ramaseshan said, "Paradigm-Global is a very industry-focused
organization. Our primary focus, all-along, has been to offer high technology
consulting services to engineering industries that include automotive,
aerospace, power equipment and electronics. CFD finds a major application in all
these industries. It could be external aerodynamics, combustion problems or
internal HVAC or climatic control applications of auto and aero industry;
gas-turbine, steam - turbine or compressor design issues in the power industry;
and cooling applications of the electronics industry - one needs CFD analysis to
handle these problems."
