For GrainCorp’s core origination and grain marketing business, Eka will be replacing multiple legacy systems for pool pricing, grower contracts and grower payments. The system GrainCorp will adopt has already been successfully deployed for other customers in Australia.

“In order to meet our growth targets, it is essential that we deploy a system which is fit for purpose, easy to use and flexible,” said GrainCorp’s Sam Tainsh, general manager, marketing.

“Our challenge was to find the right product platform and partner for the next phase of our growth. We were not only impressed by the Eka product, but also by their people. They demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge of the grain business and a willingness to work with us to meet our objectives,” he added.

Announcing the deal, Manav Garg, CEO and founder, Eka Software Solutions said, “Winning an account as prestigious as GrainCorp is a glowing testimony of our strategy to provide a platform with deep functionality for end-to-end commodity supply chain and risk management. We look forward to working closely with the GrainCorp team to further enhance our product.”
