BANGALORE: 3i Infotech Ltd has completed the roll out
of the Integrated Insurance Management solution at 192 offices of Oriental
Insurance Company Ltd. Roll out in 412 offices constitute the phase I of the
implementation, before taking up implementation across other branches of
Oriental Insurance.
With the completion of the roll out at 192 offices, INLIAS (Integrated Non-Life
Insurance Application Solution) as the project is referred to, has provided
Oriental Insurance seamless integration across its operations, ensuring easy
access to information and efficient customer service.
After complete roll-out across all its offices, Oriental Insurance will benefit
from operational efficiencies, automated reporting at divisional and regional
levels and effective management information systems for top management
decision-making.
The company has customized its standard insurance Premia software product to
develop the INLIAS software for Oriental insurance.
The deployment of INLIAS is part of Oriental Insurance's initiative to become
India's premier general insurance Company, built upon well-knit integrated
business systems. Oriental Insurance currently has 21 Regional Offices, 310
Divisional Offices, 583 Branches and 55 Extension Counters across India.
