Oracle to offer Java training

NEW DELHI: The Global Education Center of Oracle India has announced that it

is offering training in the Oracle Java Technology Track. This course is being

conducted by some of Oracle's education career training partners at various

locations in India. These partners are SQL Star International, ER&DCI, Path

Consultants, Edutech Informatics, STG, Base Ltd., UPTEC, Serrio Infotech, Libra,

Dovetail Software and Informatics, Sri Lanka.

The 45-day Oracle Java Technology Track imparts in-depth knowledge of Oracle

JDeveloper and Oracle Business Components for Java. The modules covered in the

course include: Introduction to SQL/PLSQL; Fundamentals in Java programming;

Developing database applications with Java-Part 1; Developing database

applications with Java-Part 2; Object-oriented analysis and design with UML;

Developing applications with enterprise JavaBeans; Creating dynamic Web content

with Java and Developing applications with Oracle business components for Java.

The program is aimed at graduates, BE/BTech engineers, MCAs as well as

working professionals. On the current course fee of Rs 32,000, Oracle is

offering a 100 per cent discount for the first 800 tests for the Java OCP

program. The offer is valid till August 31, 2000.
