Oppo F7 with 25MP fron camera launched in India for Rs 21,990

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo earlier today unveiled its latest smartphone- Oppo F7. The device which also looks similar to the iPhone X has been launched in the country for Rs 21,990. The new smartphone will be going on a flash sale online (via Flipkart) as well as offline on April 2. A wider sale will kick off on April 9. Buyers will be able to choose from Moonlight Silver and Solar Red colours. There is also a special Diamond Black colour edition.

As for the specifications, Oppo F7 sports a 6.23-inch Super Full-Screen display with Full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. The front of the smartphone boasts an all-screen design up front with an iPhone X-like notch at the top. At the back, the smartphone gets a glossy finish with a camera module.

Under the hood of the device is a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The Oppo F7 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB. In contrast, the 128GB model features 6GB of RAM.

The new smartphone features a 25-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX 576 sensor, and AI Beauty Technology 2.0. At the back is a 16-megapixel sensor which includes AI capabilities. The camera also features Portrait mode for shooting DSLR-like photos.

The smartphone also comes with Google Assistant onboard. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on ColorOS 5.0 UI. The Oppo F7 is powered by 3,400mAh battery rated to deliver up to 33.5 hours of music playback).

Other features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and supports a 'facial unlock' feature.
