The theme of the conference is ‘Aligning the Data Center with Business Strategy', and will address the omnipresent role of data centers in the overall strategy of today's businesses.

Levitt will participate on the panel entitled ‘The Build vs. Buy Decision in 2013', taking place on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in the Grand Salon 1-2 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM local time. This session will contrast the costs and benefits of building, owning or collocating all or some portions of data center space, as well as identify the most important criteria for companies to deliberate during the decision-making process.

These considerations can include determining the urgency of needs, analyzing available resources and capital for the initial investment, and assessing specific requirements for security, latency, location as well as accessibility to multiple network providers. Levitt will offer his executive insights and best practices for identifying and obtaining a custom data center solution designed to meet companies' specific infrastructure needs, budgetary parameters and overall business objectives.

Open Data Centers provides carrier-neutral colocation options for carriers, service providers and enterprise customers at its Piscataway data center. Featuring diverse power feeds, N+1 redundancy and close proximity to New York City, ODC's Piscataway facility is purpose-built to fulfill the low latency needs of financial institutions and high-availability requirements of Cloud services and applications while serving as an ideal location for carrier Points of Presence (PoPs).

The data center also provides tenants with available access to multiple network and fiber providers including: Cablevision, Cogent, Core Technology Services, Endstream Communications, FiberTech, Level 3 Communications, Lightower, Sunesys, Verizon, Verizon Business, and Zayo.
