ooVoo unveils video chat services SDK for developers

NEW YORK, USA: ooVoo, independent social video chat provider announced the release of its Software Developer Kit (SDK), allowing developers to enhance software with ooVoo's advanced video chat capabilities.

By integrating ooVoo's new SDK, brands can add the highest quality video chatting service to their iOS and Android apps with one-on-one or multi-party video communications features, said a company release.

To integrate the SDK into commercial products, ooVoo is offering free unlimited usage with advertising served by ooVoo, or paid per video minute without ads.

"Imagine what it would be like if you could video chat on a dating site or interpret your opponent's expression in a poker video game," said Jay Samit, president of ooVoo. "Face-to-face communication really changes the shared experience across all industries, and that's why we're thrilled to put ooVoo's SDK into developers' hands today."

ooVoo's claims that the new SDK supports up to 12 simultaneous, live video streams per session but can support a higher number if requested. ooVoo's services are strictly cloud-based, ensuring reliability and performance optimization for both speed and quality.

ooVoo's developer kit includes everything that software developers need to seamlessly add video chat to their software, including sample multi-way video chat application on iOS and Android with complete source code.
