"Only the point of printing has shifted not its consumption"

Ricoh India which is a player in the printing and document management space, has announced that the company's total revenue grew from 300 cr to 1047 cr

BANGALORE, INDIA: Ricoh India which is a player in the printing and document management space, has announced that the company's total revenue grew from 300 cr to 1047 cr (end of 2014) in three years.

Operating in 231 countries and with a workforce of over 1000 employees,  the company now plans to strengthen its remote presence with a major focus in the North-Easthern states.

The company will also be investing Rs.500 cr to expand its reach in tier II and tier III cities. Also, it is planning on expansion as well as strengthen its presence in the Government sector.

Manoj Kumar, managing director, Ricoh India said, "Achieving an excellent growth of 3 times in 3 years with 50 percent+ CAGR, IT services will continue to be one of our key growth engines in company’s contribution in the coming years. Ricoh being ranked as a leader in Multifunction Printers is yet another testimony of customer confidence in our products.”

Ricoh has recently won various projects in Karnataka total of Rs. 68 crore to supply and install IT Infrastructure in more than 1000 branches of across Vijaya Bank and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department to supply IT infrastructure to 5,629 gram panchayats in across Karnataka.

Interestingly, the company is also modernizing post offices all around the country, with 8000 of them being in Karnataka. To face the challenge of connectivity and other issues, Ricoh will also be setting up 74 service centres across the nation including four centres in Karnataka. The project will render Rs. 1370cr in a period of 5 years.

Ricoh has successfully implemented key projects in other states of South India. It recently bagged Rs. 40 Cr. Tamil Nadu Health Department. The vision of this project is to "Make all Health Services accessible to the common man in the entire state.

This projects includes modernizing of 69 secondary care hospitals and 100 health centers across Tamil Nadu by providing complete Infrastructure networking, power cabling, IT hardware along with trained manpower for the maintenance of the hardware.
