In order to better support the application developers, One Hour Translation released API support for its Translation Memory Cloud (TMC). The TM API allows developers to translate string by string through the system. The strings are collected under one project more efficiently, in context and correctly localized.

"The important thing about our new TM API is future application text updates," said Oren Yagev, co-founder and vice president R&D of One Hour Translation. "By using the API, developers can easily translate only the strings that are not already translated, thus saving time and money when the application is updated."

"We see time and again how small investments in application localization lead to substantial increases in downloads and revenue," said Ofer Shoshan, Co-founder and CEO of One Hour Translation. "The average application localization cost is lower than $100 per language, and the ROI is much higher."

One Hour Translation's new TM API offering provides better support, cost-savings and more control to application developers. For a limited time, the company will offer free professional translation (up to 500 words, general) for application developers who use the TM API.
