Ohio Clinic takes automation therapy

CLEVELAND, ARIZONA, US: The Cleveland Clinic has chosen the automation prescription for workflow to integrate referral tracking, authorizations, scheduling, documentation and the plan of care through the therapy continuum for Acute Care, Outpatient and Inpatient Rehabilitation facilities.

It has selected MediServe for this enterprise-wide deployment that will be integrated with the existing EMR for ADT, orders, results, scheduling and billing.

Musood Pirzada, Director Information Technology, of Cleveland Clinic, that is located in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a not-for-profit multispecialty academic medical center, states in a press note, “Our goal at the Cleveland Clinic is to provide the best care possible to our patients. Having a solution that seamlessly integrates all aspects of record-keeping through the therapy continuum makes us even more effective. We are committed to providing each department with the best tools the market has to offer. We are pleased that we can now use MediLinks to improve clinical quality, patient safety and business operations enterprise-wide within each area of Rehab services.”
