Odisha Police to launch CCTNS project on Jan 12

BHUBANESWAR, INDIA: The Odisha Police is all set to launch the pilot programme of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project from January 12.

"We have already requested the Chief Minister to inaugurate the CCTNS to be launched in pilot basis in two districts," said Director General of Police Prakash Mishra, after attending the conference of chief secretaries and DGPs of all states in New Delhi.

Under the pilot project, Kendrapada and Angul districts will be covered in the first phase.
