Playing a major role in the evolution of connected technology, NXP will show off a range of applications and services that are enabling secure connections for a smarter world.

Today, more than ever before, consumers want, or need, to be constantly connected to the internet - at home, in the car, or while travelling. Underpinning this connected revolution is the need for confidence in the security of our data, and to ensure it is only accessible to authorised people or programmes.

The world leader in identification solutions, NXP is also the world's largest supplier of secure technology that protects bank, credit and public transport payment cards, successfully securing billions of financial transactions every single day.

NXP is also driving the adoption of secure mobile transactions and NFC solutions, with 90 percent of all NFC equipped mobile handsets using NXP's technology. The mobile device is transforming the way we interact with the physical world, and its convenience is underlined by the 280 million NFC devices sold in 2013 (ABI Research), of which 90 percent of all mobile secure transactions utilised NXP's NFC solutions.
