NuTek Q3 records PAT of Rs.3.44 crore

NEW DELHI, INDIA: NuTek India Ltd., a telecom infrastructure services provider, announced on Friday its third quarter results for the period that ended on December 31, 2008.

It recorded a PAT of Rs. 3.44 crores for the third quarter and the EPS was posted at Rs 1.99, said a press release.

The company posted revenue of Rs. 40.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, the release added.

Inder Kumar Sharma, founder and managing director, NuTek said, "Despite the downturn and the current global economic conditions, the opportunities in the telecom sector in India are still very encouraging resulting in our experiencing a steady momentum in a globally difficult quarter."

He further added, "With our vast range of services and our vast geographic reach, we are sure to gain on the back of the currently growing market with the launch of 3G and the entrance of newer players in the telecom sector."
