Nucleus Software's Q2 net profit up 159 per cent

HYDERABAD: Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, has recorded net profits of Rs 8.78 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as compared to Rs 3.39 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

Consolidated revenue for the quarter ending 30th September 2005 increased by 48.10 percent to Rs 35.72 crore as compared to Rs 24.12 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year

For the half year ending September 30, 2005, consolidated revenue increased by 52.21 percent to Rs 68.56 crore from Rs 45.04 crore in the corresponding half-year period of the previous year. Net Profit increased to Rs 17.36 crore as compared to Rs 6.33 crore in the corresponding half-year period of the previous year.

During the quarter, the company added six clients.
